Dani Olmo is being followed by a large number of major European clubs in light of the complexity of his situation with Barcelona due to La Liga regulations.
Until December 31, Barcelona failed to register the Spanish player due to not meeting the Financial Fair Play rules, so the player became a free agent and can move to any club for free.
According to the newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, Arsenal was the first to watch Olmo’s situation, and asked the player’s environment about his position on moving to the Gunners if the situation continues as it is.
After Arsenal, the other big five in the Premier League spoke with Olmo’s agent, namely Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, in addition to Tottenham and Liverpool.
Olmo’s interest was not limited to the Premier League teams only, but he moved to the German League, where Bayern Munich is still among those aspiring to acquire the services of the 26-year-old.
Bayer Leverkusen have also inquired about the player’s situation, knowing that Olmo’s former club, Leipzig, assured his agent that their door will remain open to him to rescue him from this “surreal situation”.
So far, Olmo is holding off and stressing that he wants to continue with Barcelona, but he expects that if Joan Laporta’s administration fails to find a solution to the crisis, the player will inevitably leave.
