An audio leak of Monterrey’s assistant coach, Nico Sanchez, insulting Lionel Messi and calling him a “possessed dwarf with the face of the devil” has spread.
Messi and Inter Miami coach Tata Martino got into an altercation with Monterrey coach Fernando Ortiz after the end of the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League quarter-finals because the flea’s entourage objected to the arbitration decisions.
The newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” published a leak in which Sanchez insulted Messi in the most horrific terms, as well as coach Martino. The strange thing is that he apologized to the latter afterward, but did not do the same with Messi.
During the leak, Sanchez told his interviewer, “He was like a possessed dwarf. His face was like the face of a devil. He put his hand in my face and said, ‘Who do you think you are? He wanted to eat me alive.'”
He continued about the way he dealt with Messi, “I did not look at him, and that made the matter worse. I was looking the other way.”
As for Tata Martino, “What a poor doll they did. It was really dangerous. They want to pollute the stadium.”
Inter Miami is scheduled to meet Monterrey on Thursday in Mexico in the return match, after the first leg in America ended with a 2-1 victory for the visitors in the absence of Messi due to injury.
