Sergio Ramos will not join the Saudi League, and has settled on the American League as his next destination.
The Spanish international’s contract with Sevilla expires at the end of the current season, and the Andalusian club decided to end the experiment at this point, despite the defender’s great brilliance.
According to the newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, Ramos has completed his agreement with the San Diego team, which will participate for the first time in the American League in 2025.
The 38-year-old will receive one of the highest salaries in the American League, but his exact value has not been revealed yet.
Many Saudi clubs wanted to obtain the services of the Real Madrid legend last summer, most notably Al-Ittihad, but Ramos then decided to return to his home in Seville.
During this season, Ramos scored 6 goals in all tournaments, and despite the Saudi interest in him again, his desire was to go to the American League with Lionel Messi and the rest of the stars.
