Real Madrid star Rodrygo came out with a clarification about the statements that spread to him in the past hours and hinted at the possibility of leaving the Royal Club soon.
During a press interview, Rodrygo was asked about the departure and said that anything is possible, which immediately made speculation increase that he would leave the Santiago Bernabeu with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe.
In turn, the Brazilian star re-published a tweet about his future in which it was clearly written, “Rodrygo’s entourage denies that the player is thinking about leaving Real Madrid.”
He also added, “Rodrygo wants to make history with Real Madrid and is not thinking of any other option now.”
The 22-year-old’s name has recently been linked to a number of major clubs, led by Manchester City, after it was said that Pep Guardiola is one of the most convinced of the player’s abilities.
Rodrygo’s contract with Real Madrid still extends until the summer of 2028, and his departure is not expected in light of Florentino Perez’s intention to keep all the stars and create an invincible generation that Mbappe will lead.
