Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola announced that he will not return to coach Barcelona in the future, and that the door is closed in this regard forever.
Guardiola coached Barcelona from 2008 to 2012, where he achieved many achievements, before leaving due to disagreements with management and moving to Bayern Munich and from there to Manchester City.
There have been rumors in recent months that Guardiola may return to Barcelona at the end of his contract with Manchester City next summer, especially since his relationship is very special with current Barcelona president Joan Laporta.
When Guardiola was asked about this matter, he answered in clear terms in statements to the media, saying, “The door is closed, I will not return to Barcelona.”
At the same time, the Spaniard revealed the future of the duo Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva, saying, “We will talk to Barcelona about the situation of Joao Cancelo, and we will try to find the best solution.”
He concluded, “We have not received any calls from Barcelona or any other club about Bernardo, and my desire is for him to continue with us at Manchester City.”
