It’s over.. Real Madrid star decides to leave and move to Saudi League

The international media agreed that Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernandez has made his final decision to leave the Royal Club this summer, with the Saudi League being his next destination.

Nacho’s contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of the current season, and he received an offer to renew his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu, but his initial decision since last April was to leave and leave for a club outside the continent of Europe.

According to recent reports, Al-Ittihad Club succeeded in reaching an agreement with Nacho in the past hours to join the ranks of the Saudi club in a free transfer deal.

The 34-year-old will make a lot of money from this deal, as the newspaper “Marca” indicates that his annual salary in Ittihad will be 20 million euros, with his contract extending for two seasons.

Real Madrid’s offer to Nacho was only 5 million euros annually, and perhaps this was a decisive factor in the player’s preference for a new experience at the end of his career.

It is noteworthy that Nacho’s departure increases the possibility of Real Madrid making a summer deal to support the centre-back, and it is most likely that Florentino Perez’s management will increase its interest in including Lille defender Lenny Euro.

It is worth noting that Nacho has never left Real Madrid. He began his career in the Merengue youth and was promoted to the first team during the Jose Mourinho era in 2013. Since then, he has become a key piece in the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Spanish international won 26 championships with Real Madrid, and is the player with the most titles in a Merengue shirt, shared equally with Luka Modric.
