Napoli reaches an agreement with Real Madrid to buy its player

AS newspaper revealed that the Napoli administration succeeded in reaching an agreement with its counterpart in Real Madrid to contract with Rafa Marin during the current summer Mercato.

Marin is a member of the Real Madrid academy and has been promoted to the first team in recent years, but he did not participate in any official match in the white shirt, before he was loaned last season to Alaves.

It was expected that the 22-year-old would return to Real Madrid next season in order to fill the gap in the heart of the defence, but Carlo Ancelotti is not convinced of the player’s abilities and prefers to sign a new defender.

According to the latest report, Napoli agreed with Marin and completed an agreement with Real Madrid to buy the player for 15 million euros based on the desire of the new coach of the South Club, Antonio Conte.

Although Ancelotti is not very convinced by Marin, there is belief within Real Madrid in the player’s potential to develop, and for this reason a buyback clause was placed in his contract for 30 million euros.

It is expected that an official announcement will be made within the next few hours about the Spaniard’s transfer to the Italian club.
