Real Madrid reaches an agreement with its second summer deal

Marca newspaper confirmed that Real Madrid has reached an agreement with defender Lenny Yoro on personal terms for the player to move to the Santiago Bernabeu next season.

Yoro’s contract with Lille is still extended until the summer of 2025, with no penalty clauses, and amid the interest of many major clubs in including him, most notably Paris Saint-Germain.

Real Madrid is searching for a centre-back in light of the possible exit of Nacho Fernandez and the injury of David Alaba, and the choice was made on the 18-year-old, who is seen as one of the best young players in the world.

According to the latest “Marca” report, Real Madrid contacted the player’s camp and succeeded in reaching an agreement on everything with him, and the player’s confirmed desire is to join Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

But Florentino Perez’s management must now negotiate with its counterpart in Lille in order to reach an agreement on the value of the deal, and here lies the greatest risk to the success of the player’s transfer to the Spanish capital.

Lille wants to get 50 to 60 million euros from the sale of Yoro, while Real Madrid believes that this value is exaggerated, given that the player’s contract extends for only one year and he can leave for free next summer.

In negotiations, Real Madrid hopes to succeed in paying a maximum amount of up to 40 million euros and obtain the services of the young French defender.

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid included another French player, Kylian Mbappe, in a free transfer, and Endrik will also arrive after the end of his loan in Brazil, so that Yoro will be the second official deal and the third support in general this summer.
