The Mbappe and Paris crisis worsens.. The player sends the first warning

L’Equipe reported that Kylian Mbappe has sent an official letter warning Paris Saint-Germain about receiving his overdue payments of €100 million.

Mbappé has not received his salary at the French club since last April, nor did he receive the loyalty bonus that he was said to have verbally informed PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi of waiving.

Paris Saint-Germain initially owes Mbappe 100 million euros, which is the value of the last 3 months’ salaries, in addition to some other bonuses.

According to the newspaper “Marca”, Paris Saint-Germain informed the French League that it does not intend to pay this money to Mbappe, and therefore the crisis between the player and the club will worsen.

Sending the warning letter is the first step, and Mbappe tends to resolve the matter amicably and get his full dues, but the matter is different in Paris.

If the situation continues as it is, Mbappé’s entourage will resort to the French judiciary to claim the late dues, especially since the law here is clearly on the player’s side.

The French Federation’s professional charter requires clubs to pay their players’ salaries to a maximum on the last day of each month, while by the end of this June, Mbappe will have been without a salary for 90 days.

It remains to be noted that Paris Saint-Germain’s stubborn stance towards Mbappe comes due to his refusal to renew his contract with the club and his decision to move to Real Madrid starting next season.
