The newspaper “Marca” revealed that the Paris Saint-Germain administration has drawn up its initial plan for how to deal with Kylian Mbappe’s resort to the courts to demand his late money.
Mbappé did not receive his salary for the last 3 months with Paris, as well as the loyalty bonus that he was supposed to receive months ago, with a total of 100 million euros.
The Real Madrid star sent a warning notice to the French club of the need to pay his dues, while Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s administration is determined not to give him any more money, so that resorting to the judiciary will be closer than ever before.
According to Marca, Paris Saint-Germain will rely on an oral promise given by Mbappe to the administration, in the hearing and sight of many, that he will not leave the Parc des Princes Stadium for free.
Among the witnesses to this promise were coach Luis Enrique and sports advisor Luis Campos, who saved Mbappe from not participating again last season, according to the player’s confession.
The promise made in closed rooms will not only be Paris’s way of proving that Mbappe does not deserve his salary, but also his statements to the media, including what he said that he had reached an agreement with the club that protects both parties from any losses at the beginning of the past season.
It remains unknown whether the judiciary will consider oral statements as evidence of Paris’s right not to pay money again to Mbappe, or whether this matter has no legal basis.
