De Bruyne shocks the Saudi League!

Manchester City star, Kevin De Bruyne, confirmed that he will not leave the English club in the current summer Mercato, and that talks to renew the contract may begin in the coming months.

De Bruyne’s statements come weeks after his famous statements during which he said that he might move to the Saudi League because of the huge salaries there, which he cannot earn in Europe, no matter his level.

But it seems that the Belgian international has changed his previous decision, as he said in press statements on Sunday, “I will spend a quiet summer with my family and then return to Manchester City afterward.”

He also added, “I believe that negotiations to renew my contract will take place in the coming months with City management.”

He concluded, “I met the sports director of the Saudi League at the last Club World Cup, but we never discussed the possibility of me moving there.”

“If there’s a good offer and you tell Pep you want to leave then it is possible. This may be different at other clubs. But I have never indicated that I want to leave.

“I have more than enough money. But if an absurd amount comes then it is also for my family, my relatives, my grandchildren, my great-grandchildren and my friends”

With these statements, it becomes certain that the 32-year-old will not leave Pep Guardiola’s squad, at least in the next season, despite what was reported about Saudi clubs’ willingness to give him more than 30 million annually as salary.
