Revolution in Al-Ittihad: Saudi players refuse to play with Benzema!

A wave of protests broke out inside Al-Ittihad Club before the start of the new season, and it seems that a revolution is currently being arranged within the corridors of the Saudi club, and the reason for this is Karim Benzema.

Al-Ittihad President Louay Al-Nazer resigned from his position a few days after winning the elections, and with him the agreement with Italian coach Stefano Pioli to succeed Marcelo Gallardo in Jeddah collapsed.

According to the “Kooora” website, resignations within Al-Ittihad Board of Directors will follow in the next few days.

The same source confirmed that the Saudi players in Al-Ittihad do not want to play with Karim Benzema, and they consider him the cause of all the club’s crises in the last year.

It was said that Benzema wants to sign a coach who has previously worked with him, such as Christophe Galtier. He also called for the departure of Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, and has not stopped criticizing local players recently.

Because of the French star’s actions, there is a state of anger among the players that has also spread to the administration, making the club’s future with Benzema ambiguous, and threatening the next season before it even begins.
