With a deadly goal… Spain wins Euro 2024 (video)

The Spanish national team defeated England 2-1 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, winning the Euro 2024 title.

The Spanish team had a clear advantage in the first half, but without threatening the goal, until Neco Williams scored the first goal in the 47th minute.

Spain then wasted several chances to score, and football punished them with an equalizer goal for England through substitute Coler Palmer, assisted by Jude Bellingham, in the 74th minute.

In the 85th minute, in a more than wonderful joint game between Mark Cuccaria and Mikel Oyarzabal, the latter scored the second goal and with it Spain won the title.

The Spanish national team was thus unique in being the team that won the most European Nations Cup titles by reaching the fourth title and resolving the clash with Germany, which has only three titles.

Spain will earn 28.5 million euros from winning the Euro, after coach Luis de la Fuente’s squad succeeded in winning all its matches in the tournament without exception.

At the same time, England’s dilemma continues, losing the second final in a row after losing the Euro 2020 final to Italy on penalties at Wembley Stadium.

It is noteworthy that England has never won the Euro title at all, and its only achievement remains the 1966 World Cup title.
