Revealing the club closest to signing Lunin

Radio Onda Cero has revealed the identity of the club that Real Madrid‘s current goalkeeper Andriy Lunin will move to in the summer transfer window.

Despite Lunin‘s insistence on his desire to stay at Real Madrid, he has also stressed that he wants to play regularly, something he cannot guarantee with Thibaut Courtois in the squad.

The Ukrainian goalkeeper’s name has been linked with several clubs, and according to the latest report, Chelsea have reached a pre-agreement with Lunin to join their ranks.

Chelsea’s new coach Enzo Maresca had said that Robert Sanchez would be the Blues’ first-choice goalkeeper next season, with Serbian Petkovic as an alternative option.

Sanchez was not very convincing last season, and this could be repeated in the pre-season, which led to the idea of signing Lunin, who would undoubtedly guarantee a starting position at Stamford Bridge due to the difference in level between him and the two Blues goalkeepers.

According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea’s management has not contacted their Real Madrid counterparts regarding Lunin, whose contract with the royal club expires in the summer of 2025.

If Lunin leaves, Real Madrid’s plan would be to sign Kepa as his replacement, which could open the door to an exchange deal between the two clubs if Chelsea’s desire to sign the Ukrainian goalkeeper is true.
