Saudi club signs Premier League star for 60 million euros

Media outlets have confirmed that Al-Ittihad has successfully signed Aston Villa star Moussa Dembele, with an official announcement of the deal expected in the coming hours.

This is not the first time Al-Ittihad has been interested in Dembele, as the player was on the club’s wishlist last summer before he decided to join Aston Villa.

However, this time the “Dean” management has succeeded in reaching an agreement with the player and his club, and according to Al-Riyadiah newspaper, the deal will be worth 60 million euros with variables and additions.

The 25-year-old will sign a long-term contract that will keep him at the Yellow Club until the summer of 2029 with an annual salary of no less than 20 million euros.

The French international made 38 appearances for Aston Villa last season, scoring 6 goals and providing 8 assists.

The signing of Dembele is Al-Ittihad’s third move in the summer transfer window after signing French coach Laurent Blanc and Algerian star Houssem Aouar from Roma.

And the summer steps of Al-Ittihad are not expected to stop at this point, and the Saudi club has been linked with the signing of Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson from Manchester City.
