Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain officials are on the verge of signing two heavyweight deals during the current summer transfer window.
The first deal is to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, with the Nigerian defender agreeing to join the French league champions and negotiations between the two clubs ongoing to finalize the transfer soon.
The second deal is Benfica midfielder Joao Neves, and negotiations between the two clubs are also at an advanced stage with the player keen to move to the Parc des Princes stadium.
According to the “Foot Mercato” network, PSG officials will not stop there, but are also planning a third deal to compensate for the departure of Kylian Mbappe.
However, the surprise lies in the identity of the replacement, as the site indicates that Manchester United star Jadon Sancho is the chosen one despite his decline in form in recent years.
Sancho spent half of last season on loan with Dortmund where he regained some of his form, and Erik ten Hag has announced that what happened in the past between him and the English player is over and he can continue with United next season without any problems.
PSG will contact United officials to inquire about the asking price for Sancho, knowing that the player joined the Red Devils three years ago for over 80 million euros.
It is worth noting that the name of the Portuguese Rafael Leao was the most put forward in the past months to replace Mbappe, but the value of the release clause in his contract with Milan, which reaches 150 million euros, hinders his signing.
