Ancelotti Announces: Will Real Madrid Make New Signings?

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the club will not make any new signings during the current summer transfer window.

Real Madrid had signed both Kylian Mbappé and Endrick, and were on the verge of signing Leny Yoro before he moved to Manchester United, leaving a clear crisis in the center-back position.

The club has been linked with several center-backs since then, but Ancelotti insists that the current squad is the one that will compete in the new season for Real Madrid without any additions.

In a press conference in America, the Italian coach responded to a question about his club making new signings, saying, “Our squad is closed. We will not be making any more signings.”

He added about the center-back crisis, “Faye is back, Alaba is recovering from injury, and we are currently evaluating our young players in the academy.”

He concluded, “I don’t think we will see any players leave either. Nobody wants to leave, we have a more than fantastic squad of players.”
