Arda Güler caused concern among Real Madrid players and fans after falling during the club’s training session following a hard tackle from Antonio Rudiger.
“Marca” newspaper published a video of the aftermath, showing the Turkish player falling to the ground, clutching his foot, and clearly in pain.
Given the 19-year-old’s injury history, which kept him out of Real Madrid for six months last season, there was widespread concern that the hard tackle from Rudiger could sideline him again.
Real Madrid’s medical staff intervened to assess Güler’s condition, and fortunately, the injury did not appear serious despite the severity of the challenge.

Overall, there has been non-stop praise within the Real Madrid camp for Güler’s performances in training, and a lot is expected of him next season despite the fierce competition he will face.
It’s worth noting that Güler played in Real Madrid’s friendly match against Milan, which the team lost 1-0, and he will be involved in the friendly El Clasico against Barcelona on August 4th as part of Carlo Ancelotti’s team’s friendly tour of America.
