Journalist Nabil DJilet from France Football magazine has revealed that three European clubs are interested in signing Al Ain star Sofiane Rahimi in the current summer transfer window.
Rahimi has shown impressive performances with Al Ain last season, winning the Asian Champions League top scorer and leading the Emirati club to the title.
During the summer, the 28-year-old continued to excel, scoring 5 goals in 4 matches with the Moroccan Olympic team at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
According to DJilet, Villarreal in Spain, Stuttgart in Germany, and Lyon in France are eager to sign Rahimi in the final weeks of the transfer window.
The former Raja star’s contract with Al Ain still has one year remaining, and all reports from the UAE confirm that the club will not allow him to leave and will do everything possible to renew his contract.
European clubs are not the only ones interested in Rahimi, as it is said that Al Hilal and Al-Ittihad from Saudi Arabia were also interested in signing the player.
