Moroccan Star Close to Joining En-Nesyri at Fenerbahce

Turkish media reported that Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho has asked his club’s management to make every effort to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina this summer.

The Moroccan player’s loan spell with Manchester United ended at the end of last season, and the English club decided not to activate the purchase option, which was valued at 22 million euros.

Amrabat’s contract with Fiorentina runs until the summer of 2025, and it is likely that the player wants to leave, and indeed he has some good offers from England and Spain.

According to the latest report, Mourinho has a strong desire to sign Amrabat, and because of that, Fenerbahce’s management is trying to reach an agreement with its counterpart in Fiorentina regarding the deal.

The Turkish club has increased its offer to 12 million euros to meet Mourinho’s desire, while Fiorentina wants to get 15 million euros from the sale of the 27-year-old.

The coming hours may witness the two parties reaching a common ground to finalize the deal, and Amrabat will thus become the second Moroccan at Fenerbahce after the Turkish club signed Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla earlier this summer.
