After Missing Chelsea Friendly, Can Endrick and Güler Make the European Super Cup?

The absence of Arda Güler and Endrick from Real Madrid’s friendly match against Chelsea has raised concerns among the club’s fans about the duo’s participation in the European Super Cup against Atalanta.

Real Madrid won their last friendly match on their US tour, 2-1 against Chelsea, and the club is now preparing to return to Spain to resume the season with a match against Atalanta on August 14.

According to coach Carlo Ancelotti, Endrick and Güler are suffering from fatigue, and the Italian preferred to rest them against Chelsea to prevent them from getting injured.

Ancelotti told the media after the match, “They had difficulty recovering after the Barcelona match, but they are fine and can participate in the European Super Cup.”

He continued, “Militao is also fine, all the players finished the US tour in good condition, now we have to see how the others will return.”

Kylian Mbappé will join Real Madrid training for the first time on August 9, along with the rest of the Real Madrid players who participated late in Euro 2024.
