Despite Mohamed Salah and his camp confirming that he will remain with Liverpool next season and until the end of his contract, something seems to be brewing on the horizon that suggests otherwise.
According to fourfourtwo, negotiations have been taking place between Liverpool officials and Saudi league officials in recent days to finalize Salah’s transfer to one of the Roshen League clubs.
Liverpool is aware that an offer will come in the next few days from the Saudi league with a value of £100 million, which is the same amount the club wants for Salah’s sale.
As a result, there has been communication between the two parties to discuss the matter and reach an agreement without a repeat of what happened last year when the deal was rejected at the last minute.
Now, all that remains is for the Saudi clubs’ budgets to be approved by the relevant authorities, after which the offer will be officially submitted to Liverpool, and it is expected that Michael Edwards’ administration will immediately approve it.
