Liverpool Close to Sealing Important Deal

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Liverpool is on the verge of completing its first signing of the summer.

The English club has reached an agreement with goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili on all the details, and only an agreement with his club Valencia remains.

Negotiations with Valencia are not expected to be difficult, as the Bats are open to selling the player to make a financial profit, and talks are expected to begin in the coming days.

Liverpool will likely pay €35 million to Valencia to buy Mamardashvili.

However, the Georgian goalkeeper will not join Liverpool directly this summer, but will be loaned out, possibly for two years.

For Liverpool’s management, Mamardashvili will be a future replacement for Alisson, and the Reds’ management is aware that the goalkeeper does not want to sit on the bench, and thus a loan move until the end of the Brazilian’s journey at Anfield will be the ideal option for all parties.
