Pedri’s Return to Barcelona Matches Set

Sport newspaper has confirmed that Pedri will miss Barcelona’s first La Liga match against Valencia due to his injury.

The 22-year-old has been absent from Barca’s training sessions this season as a result of the serious knee injury he suffered while playing for the Spanish national team at Euro 2024.

The good news is that Pedri has returned to training on the grass, albeit individually, and is expected to join group training in the coming days.

It is impossible for Pedri to make it to the Valencia match scheduled for next Saturday at Mestalla Stadium.

There is a sense of optimism within Barcelona that Pedri will complete his recovery without any setbacks and will be able to play in the match against Athletic Bilbao at the Camp Nou on August 28.

In this case, Pedri will participate in a small part of the match, and will then be fully ready to start as a regular in coach Hansi Flick’s squad.
