Munir El Nasraoui, the father of Barcelona star Lamín Yamal, was stabbed in a parking lot on Frank Marshall Street in the Roccafonda neighborhood of Mataró.
According to Catalan media, El Nasraoui’s life is not in danger, although the injury was initially considered serious.
Reports indicate that the reason for the stabbing was political, as El Nasraoui had gotten into an altercation with supporters of a far-right party.
This was not the first time El Nasraoui had clashed with supporters of this party. In 2023, he was fined €550 for attacking them.
Fortunately, the injury was manageable, and the Moroccan was able to return home after successful treatment at the hospital.
