Al-Medina newspaper reported that Al-Hilal’s management has decided to conclude a major deal in the remaining days of the current summer transfer window to compensate for the expected departure of Saud Abdulhamid to Roma.
Italian media reported that Abdulhamid has completed his agreement with Roma, which has already begun negotiations with Al-Hilal to sign the player, and talks are now in the final stages.
According to the report, Jeremie Frimpong, the right-back for Bayer Leverkusen, is Al-Hilal’s target to replace Saud Abdulhamid.
It is said that the management of the “Blue Wave” has already opened a line of communication with the Dutchman, whose contract with Bayer Leverkusen still extends until the summer of 2028.
Signing the 23-year-old will not be easy, as his value will not be less than 50 million euros, especially since he has been on the radar of major clubs this summer.
The Ghanaian-born player participated in 47 matches with Leverkusen last season and scored 14 goals, leading Xabi Alonso’s squad to a double of the Bundesliga and the cup.
