Vitor Roque declares war on Barcelona in his Betis contract!

According to Mundo Deportivo, Vitor Roque personally intervened and rejected Barcelona’s desire to include a clause preventing him from participating in matches between Barca and Real Betis.

According to the newspaper, the Brazilian player will join Real Betis on a two-year loan deal with a purchase option of 25 million euros.

Barcelona wanted to include the clause commonly found in La Liga and the Premier League, preventing the loaned player from facing his original team.

Surprisingly, Roque himself rejected the clause and insisted on being allowed to play against Barcelona, as if he wanted to show coach Hansi Flick his abilities.

Due to Barcelona’s urgent need to get rid of the player, Joan Laporta’s management agreed to cancel this clause, and therefore Roque can face Barcelona in the next two years.

It is worth noting that Barcelona has the right to break the 19-year-old’s loan to Betis and bring him back to Camp Nou next summer.

It should also be noted that even if Betis buys Roque, Barcelona has the right to buy him back for only 27.5 million euros.
