Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti defended his team’s star player Kylian Mbappe after journalists asked him about his performance in the first two matches in La Liga.
Despite his participation against Real Mallorca and Valladolid, Mbappe has not been able to open his scoring account with the royal club in La Liga so far.
Before Real’s match against Las Palmas in the third match of La Liga, questions did not stop for Ancelotti about the reason for Mbappe’s decline in performance.
In turn, the Italian coach commented by saying, “We have a different challenge every year because the team and its structure change a little.”
He also added, “Last season in the last minutes, and this season we need to be patient with everything, Mbappe is progressing and improving.”
He continued, “Mbappe scored in the Super Cup, this event did not take place more than two weeks ago, so there is no need to worry about the player or the team.”
“We scored 6 goals and the team is not in its best form yet, and we have many attacking resources like Mbappe, Vinicius and Rodrygo, I don’t think we are facing a crisis in scoring goals,” he concluded.
