Egyptian media reported that Zamalek succeeded in concluding a new deal in this summer Mercato, but this time for a local player.
The White Castle had announced the inclusion of Algerian Mahmoud Bentayj and Palestinian Omar Farag, amidst great controversy over the inclusion of Gabonese Aaron Boupendza.
According to reports, Zamalek has reached an agreement with Enppi Club to sign left-back Mohamed Hamdy on loan.
The contract will include a “priority to purchase” clause, which means that if the player receives offers from other teams for a certain financial consideration, Enppi must notify Zamalek of the offer, and Zamalek has the right to submit a similar offer and obtain the player’s services within a certain period.
Mohamed Hamdy is one of the most promising players in Egypt recently, and was part of Rogerio Micale’s squad participating in the recent Paris 2024 Olympics.
The 21-year-old player can play in the positions of left-back and left midfielder as well as left winger, which will give coach Jose Gomez different solutions.
