Important for Fantasy fans.. Haaland will miss the Brentford match!

The Daily Mail reported that Erling Haaland will miss the Manchester City and Brentford match scheduled for Saturday in the Premier League, for personal reasons.

Haaland is not suffering from any injury, but his psychological state is very bad after the death of his family’s close friend Ivar Egar last week.

According to the report, Pep Guardiola allowed the Norwegian international not to participate in training in the past days and miss the Brentford match to overcome his current psychological crisis.

Egar was a very close friend of Haaland’s father, Alfie, in addition to his strong relationship with Erling himself to the point that the player always addressed him as “uncle”.

Haaland published an obituary for Egar in which he wrote, “You are a legend, words cannot describe how much you meant to me! Words cannot describe how much we will miss you!”.

It is worth noting that the 23-year-old is the Premier League’s top scorer this season with 7 goals from 3 matches, and perhaps his absence will be an opportunity for other players such as Mohamed Salah (3 goals) to get a little closer to him.

This news remains unconfirmed so far, as Guardiola has not confirmed or denied it, nor has City announced the matter.
