The Daily Mail reported that a number of Manchester City players have begun exploring the options available in the market in preparation for leaving the English club next year.
City is now threatened with relegation to the fourth division in light of 115 violations of the Financial Fair Play rules, if proven true, which would mean the collapse of the English club.
According to the report, some of City players’ agents have already begun working on alternative options for departure if the court convicts the English club and with it the penalties begin to rain down.
Agents are preparing for the worst possible scenarios with Manchester City, so there is another plan to talk to the club to explore everything and clarify the position of their players if the expected penalties are approved.
In addition to the specter of relegation, Manchester City faces the possibility of deducting points and withdrawing titles from them, in addition to the possibility of being excluded from all tournaments in which it participates, such as the Champions League and the English Cups.
