Will Haaland be punished for his actions against Arsenal?

There have been increasing calls for the Premier League to impose a penalty on Erling Haaland in light of his actions during the Manchester City and Arsenal match on Sunday.

After City managed to score a last-minute equaliser, Haaland threw the ball at the back of Arsenal defender Gabriel.

During the match, the referee did not punish the Norwegian international for this, but it was said that the Premier League may punish him as his actions were contrary to sportsmanship.

According to the Daily Mail, Haaland will not be punished for this shot.

The newspaper confirms that the video technology reviewed the game during the match, and confirmed that Haaland did not do anything that deserved a red card or a penalty in general.

It is noteworthy that Haaland also quarrelled with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and striker Gabriel Jesus after the match.

But given that he will not be punished, Haaland will naturally lead Pep Guardiola’s side next Saturday against Newcastle.
