Press reports indicated that the Saudi Investment Fund decided to make an astronomical offer to Mohamed Salah in the upcoming summer transfer market in order for him to join one of the Roshen League clubs.
The Egyptian international’s contract with the Reds expires at the end of the current season, and so far the English club’s management has not started negotiating with him about renewal, which means he has the right to sign for any new club next January.
According to what was revealed by the British network “Caught Offside”, the Saudi Investment Fund intends to make Salah one of the highest paid in the Saudi League and the world.
Salah will be given a two-year contract with the option to renew for another year, and despite not specifying the salary value and only describing it as “fantastic”, it is most likely that it will exceed 100 million euros annually.
The fund has faith that Salah will accept the offer given its size and financial value and will move to the Roshen League starting next season.
As for the club that will acquire Salah’s services, everything remains open, but it is most likely that Al-Ittihad is the most likely to sign the 32-year-old so far.
