Surprise.. Mourinho is on his way to return to the Premier League through a prestigious club

British press reports stated that Everton is considering Jose Mourinho as the first choice to compensate for the expected departure of coach Sean Dyche at any time this season.

The Toffees started the new season of the Premier League in a very modest manner after achieving only one victory in the first 6 rounds.

American businessman Dan Friedkin reached an agreement with the current owner of Everton, Farhad Moshiri, to buy 94.1% of the shares of the English club.

Friedkin believes that Dyche is not the best choice to coach Everton, and that the decision to dismiss him will come sooner or later from his new management, so he has begun discussing alternative options.

According to recent reports, Mourinho’s name has been mentioned a lot at Goodison Park recently, as Friedkin believes that he is able to turn things around and build a new project that will bring Everton back to the forefront.

Mourinho took over as Fenerbahce coach at the beginning of this season, and it is said that there is a penalty clause that allows him to leave specifically to the Portuguese national team and without specifying his position on returning to the Premier League again.

The cooperation between Mourinho and Friedkin, if it happens, will be for the second time, after the American was appointed “Special One” to coach Roma in 2021.

It is noteworthy that the 61-year-old Portuguese coach has previously coached 3 giants in England, namely Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham, and was crowned with the Premier League 3 times.
