Surprise.. Pogba’s suspension reduced, and this is the date of his return

The Daily Mail reported a surprising news that the Anti-Doping Committee has decided to reduce the period of Paul Pogba’s punishment, which will mean his return to the stadiums soon.

The French star was sentenced to a four-year suspension after being proven to have used doping, and was supposed to return to the stadiums again in 2027.

However, after he filed an appeal, the court ruled on Friday to reduce this sentence to only 18 months, with the cancellation of any financial fine previously imposed on him.

According to the report, Pogba will have the right to return to training with the Bianconeri next January, and will be allowed to participate in matches starting from March 2025.

Juventus had refused to terminate Pogba’s contract despite the first major penalty, and the Frenchman is still bound by a contract valid until the summer of 2026.

It has not yet been revealed what coach Thiago Motta’s position on Pogba is, and whether he will welcome giving him the opportunity to return to life again or decide to dispense with him.
