List of the highest paid coaches in African national teams 2024

The newspaper “Le Monde” showed that Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, is far from the list of the highest paid coaches in the African national teams.

According to the French newspaper, the coach of the Algerian national team, Vladimir Petkovic, is the highest paid in Africa with a salary of 108 thousand euros per month.

Hugo Broos, the coach of the South African national team, ranks second with 75 thousand euros per month, equal to the coach of Côte d’Ivoire, Emers Faye.

Despite his historic achievement with Morocco, Regragui is only the fourth highest paid coach in Africa with a monthly salary of 70 thousand euros.

Before his dismissal, Aliou Cisse of Senegal was receiving 46 thousand euros, followed by Otto Oddo in Ghana with 45,300 thousand euros per month, and Mark Price in Cameroon with 44 thousand euros.

Sudan national team coach, Kwasi Appiah, comes in seventh place with a monthly salary of 38 thousand euros, and surprisingly, Hossam Hassan comes after that with a salary of only 30 thousand euros, as the eighth highest-paid coach.

In the same context, Tunisia national team coach, Faouzi Benzarti, receives only 10 thousand euros, and is one of the lowest-paid coaches in the African continent.

It is worth noting that Hossam Hassan took over the training of the Egyptian national team, succeeding Rui Vitoria last March, while Faouzi Benzarti took over the training of the Tunisian national team last June in his third term.
