Real Madrid’s crises resulting from injuries continue, and the latest victim is David Alaba.
The Austrian international has been absent from the royal club since last December after suffering a cruciate and internal ligament rupture, and the expected date for his return was this October.
However, according to the “Relevo” network, Alaba has not fully recovered from his injury, and will not return to the stadiums soon.
The 31-year-old will need at least two months to complete his recovery, and is not expected to return before next January.
Carlo Ancelotti was counting on Alaba’s return to secure the center-back position in light of the injuries and numerical shortage, and he could have also relied on him in the middle of the field or the left-back position.
Ultimately, Ancelotti and Real Madrid will have to be patient until 2025 to recover Alaba, which represents a blow to the royal club’s plans for the first round of this season.
