Barcelona president Joan Laporta wants his club to sign a big star during the next summer transfer market, and it seems that Mohamed Salah is one of the names that has recently appeared on his table.

Barcelona targeted signing Erling Haaland next summer, but Laporta is well aware that signing the Norwegian star requires huge sums of money that are difficult to provide.

According to the report, a mediator close to Deco and Laporta has offered them the idea of signing Mohamed Salah, considering that his contract with Liverpool expires next summer, and will not cost Barça much.
It seems that the idea has been admired by Laporta’s management in one way or another, as signing Salah will be free, and an agreement can be reached with him to divide the transfer bonus throughout the contract period.
In light of the success of the signing of Robert Lewandowski despite his advanced age, Laporta’s management will not pay much attention to Salah reaching his 33rd year next summer.

Liverpool will try to renew Salah’s contract
The latest report confirmed that although there is no concrete offer from Liverpool to renew Salah’s contract so far, it is expected to happen in the coming months.
Salah’s acceptance of renewing with Liverpool will depend on two factors, the first is his salary and whether he will agree to reduce his wages, which reach 400 thousand pounds per week, and the other is the length of the contract.
Liverpool’s management tends to give players who are over 30 years old a one-year contract only, which is something that Salah categorically refuses.
