Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli has announced that Paul Pogba will leave the Italian club in the upcoming winter transfer window.
The French international’s suspension has been reduced to 18 months, allowing him to return to the pitch from next March.
Pogba had previously announced that he was willing to reduce his salary and do whatever it takes to continue with Juve until the end of his contract in the summer of 2026.
When Giuntoli was asked about this, he answered in clear terms: “Pogba was a great player in the past, but now we have different plans.”
He added: “We prefer to invest in other players and our current team is complete and we do not need him.”
The contract between the two parties will be terminated by mutual consent in the coming days, and the 32-year-old’s next destination remains unknown, although Marseille has emerged as a possible option.
