All football fans were surprised by a tweet via the official Juventus account in English announcing the transfer of Real Madrid star Arda Guler to the Italian club.
This tweet read, “Welcome to Juventus, Arda Guler! The promising star in the world of football is now joining Juventus, ready to write history together on this new journey?”.
There is no doubt that the news at first glance seemed very surprising considering that it is an official account, in addition to the fact that we live in October, far from the transfer period and what it may include in terms of deals, and Guler has never been previously linked to a transfer to Juventus.
A few minutes later, the official Juventus account in Italian published a tweet announcing that the English account had been hacked.
It seems clear that those who hacked the English Juventus account were Turks, as they then published a tweet mocking the president of Fenerbahce.
The 18-year-old is currently with Real Madrid and is preparing to play against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday in the Champions League.
It is worth noting that Guler has complained more than once that he has not played much in the matches this season, and in recent weeks some news has begun to talk about him leaving on loan to another club in the next winter transfer market.
