Vinicius Junior commented for the first time through his account on the X platform on losing the 2024 Ballon d’Or title to Rodri.
The Brazilian international did not appear at the awards ceremony held on Monday in the French capital, Paris, after learning that Rodri won it despite all the expectations that indicated that he would win.
Vinicius was satisfied with strong and simple phrases to explain his plan for the coming period and how he will deal with what happened.
Vinicius wrote, “I will do it again 10 times if I have to, you are not ready for what you will see.”
The 24-year-old meant that he will present the same level he presented last season and will fight again for the award next year and will never give up.
Vinicius is expected to face fierce competition this time from his Real Madrid teammate Kylian Mbappe, who has clearly stated that his biggest goal is the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
It is worth noting that many football players supported Vinicius after losing the 2024 Ballon d’Or, and many said that it came for political reasons and disagreements that had nothing to do with the player and not because of Rodri’s superiority.
