Barcelona faces the specter of losing its stars in January due to Financial Fair Play!

The newspaper “Sport” confirmed that Barcelona faces the specter of losing the duo Dani Olmo and Pau Victor next January due to Financial Fair Play regulations.

Olmo was restricted after joining Barcelona from Leipzig, as was the rising Pau Victor, thanks to the exit of Andreas Christensen from the Blaugrana list due to injury.

The Danish international is currently recovering from his injury, and once his recovery is complete, he will be returned to Barcelona’s list again, so Olmo and Victor will not have a place on Hansi Flick’s list.

Financial Fair Play regulations are very strict, and Barcelona need new inputs after Christensen’s return in order to be able to register Olmo and Victor, which currently seems difficult to achieve.

According to “Sport”, concern is beginning to grow within Joan Laporta’s administration in this regard, especially since the agreement with Nike, which was counting on to improve the economic situation, will likely not be completed before January.

Thus, the future of Olmo and Victor for the rest of this season is at stake, and it is not yet known how the Barça management will deal with the situation.

It is worth noting that Olmo in particular is one of the most influential players in Barcelona this season, while Victor has become the second attacking option after Robert Lewandowski, so losing them will be a big blow for Flick.
