Lionel Messi will return to Barcelona again after a long absence from everything related to the Catalan club.
According to the “Relevo” network, Messi agreed to attend the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the founding of Barcelona after an invitation from the club’s management headed by Joan Laporta.
Since his departure in 2021, the relationship of the flea with the Barça management has been very bad, and in more than one interview he attacked Laporta and considered him the reason for his departure from Camp Nou against his will.
Previously, Messi denied what was reported that he would attend the big ceremony expected to open the Camp Nou stadium after the renovations.
But now Messi has agreed to be part of another ceremony that will be held to celebrate the anniversary of the club’s founding, scheduled for November 29 (the same day of the founding in 1899).
Barcelona has not yet announced the details of the ceremony, but it is certain now that Messi has expressed his approval to attend as he is one of the most important elements of the club throughout its history.
It is noteworthy that Messi, 37 years old, wore the Barcelona shirt for 20 years, during which he achieved 34 championships.
