Italian media reported that the Roma administration decided to dismiss coach Ivan Juric from his position less than two months after his appointment.
Juric succeeded Roma legend Daniele De Rossi in leading the Wolves, but his numbers have been disastrous so far on various levels.
Juric played 10 matches with Roma between the Italian League and the European League, winning only 4 of them, drawing twice, and suffering 4 defeats, the last of which was 3-2 against Verona on Sunday.
In light of the decline in results, the administration decided to dismiss Juric, who took office on September 18.
The surprise is that the Wolves administration is considering appointing an option that seems very shocking, and we are talking here about Frank Lampard, who has been away from coaching for the past two years.
Lampard’s start in the world of coaching was very promising with Derby County and Chelsea, before his career collapsed from the Everton experience to his second period as interim coach of the Blues.
Lampard is not the only option on the table for the Italian club, as the management has drawn up a list that includes Roberto Mancini, who was dismissed from coaching the Saudi national team, Paulo Sousa and Claudio Ranieri as potential options to succeed Juric.
It is worth noting that Roma is ranked 11th in the Italian League with only 13 points after the first 11 rounds of the competition.
