Real Madrid star Antonio Rudiger believes that the reason for the successive defeats this season for the royal club is a psychological problem.
The statements of the German international came after the heavy loss suffered by Real against Milan 3-1 in the Champions League at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Unlike all Real players who left the field with the final whistle, Rudiger continued on the field and went to greet the Bernabeu fans with Jesus Vallejo.
Rudiger then spoke to the media about the situation of the Merengue and said, “Yes, we suffer from a psychological problem.”
He also added, “The goals we conceded confirm this, our reality clearly says that we are not well.”
He concluded, “We pledge that we will give everything we have in the coming period and we will show everyone the true face of Real Madrid in the upcoming matches.”
It is worth noting that Real Madrid’s defense received 7 goals in the last two matches, after Barcelona’s four goals and then Milan’s three goals, which expresses the extent of the defensive crisis for coach Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
