Paris Saint-Germain fans made an exceptional gesture by all standards, as they offered support to the people of Palestine and Lebanon from the stands of the Parc des Princes stadium before the start of the Atletico Madrid match in the Champions League.
The cameras captured a huge tifo prepared by the Paris Saint-Germain Ultras to support Palestine and Lebanon in light of the difficult circumstances that the two peoples are experiencing from the scourge of war.
The fans raised this tifo in the southern stand of the Parc des Princes, which is always designated for the Ultras.
The tifo bore a huge slogan that read “Free Palestine” with the Palestinian flag in the background and a picture of Al-Aqsa Mosque in front of it.
The same tifo also featured the Lebanese flag, and underneath it a banner that read “War inside the stadiums and peace in the world.”
PSG fans are not the first to support the Palestinian cause, as Celtic fans and a number of other clubs had done the same thing, but on a smaller scale than the exceptional gesture made by the French fans.
