It seems that Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has outlined his future in the next few years.
The newspaper “Sport” revealed that Guardiola has an agreement with his next team after leaving City.
Guardiola will be the coach of Brazil after the 2026 World Cup
According to the report, Guardiola has an agreement with the phenomenon Ronaldo Nazario to take over the coaching of the Brazilian national team after the 2026 World Cup.
Ronaldo intends to run for the presidency of the Brazilian Football Association, and the agreement paper with Guardiola will be the most supportive for him in the upcoming elections.
It remains to be noted that if Ronaldo does not reach the presidency of the Brazilian Federation, Guardiola’s chances of coaching the “Land of Samba” will be greatly reduced.
🚨 Brazil have called Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola several times this year with the 53-year-old keen on the idea of managing them.

Guardiola wants to coach a national team after Manchester City
Guardiola had previously confirmed that he wanted to work with national teams after the end of his journey at Manchester City.
The Spanish philosopher was linked to taking over the England national team, before the Three Lions announced the signing of Thomas Tuchel starting in January 2025.
Guardiola has not hidden more than once his interest in specifically coaching the Brazilian national team and how attractive the idea is to him, and all the circumstances now seem favorable to achieve this in 2026.
Brazil is experiencing a major decline
It remains to be noted that the Brazilian national team is experiencing a major decline, specifically since the end of the 2022 World Cup, which it bid farewell to in the quarter-finals on penalties against Croatia.
Tite left coaching Brazil after the World Cup, and Ramon Menezes was appointed temporarily as his successor in the hope of contracting Carlo Ancelotti the following summer.
The results declined significantly with Menezes, then Ancelotti renewed his contract with Real Madrid, and Dorival Junior was appointed as the permanent coach of the Selecao.
With Junior, Brazil played 13 matches, won only 6 of them, suffered 2 defeats and 5 draws, and bid farewell to the Copa America in the quarter-finals.
