Neymar’s agent, Pini Zahavi, ended the controversy surrounding the player’s move to Santos and departure from Al Hilal.
Brazilian media outlets had indicated that Neymar had reached an agreement with Santos, and the player began negotiating with Al Hilal to terminate the contract immediately.
Zahavi responded to this in statements to journalist Fabrizio Romano, “There are currently no talks between Al Hilal and Neymar about leaving, his contract is still valid and he is very happy there.”
He also added, “Only me and Neymar’s father can talk about Neymar’s future.”
He concluded, “I really don’t know the source of the recent rumors.”
Hours after Zahavi’s statements, journalist Cesar Merlo, the source of the information about Neymar’s agreement with Santos, came out and confirmed once again that he adheres to what he published, and that the player is on his way to leaving Al Hilal.
“I am firm in my position, and as happened before, time will prove the truth of everything,” said Merlo, who is known for his high credibility in South American news.
It is worth noting that last week, other news emerged about Neymar’s desire to continue with Al Hilal until the end of the season and participate in the 2025 Club World Cup, then move to another club.
