A new controversial refereeing shot in favor of Al-Ahly in the match against Al-Ittihad (Video)

Once again, a wide refereeing controversy has been raised in an Al-Ahly match this season in the Egyptian League, after the referee refused to award a penalty kick to Al-Ittihad of Alexandria.

The controversial play occurred in the 13th minute, after Karim El-Deeb sent a cross from the left side, and the ball hit Yahya Attiyat Allah’s hand inside the penalty area.

The game was stopped for minutes after that to review the video technology, which did not even call the referee and decided that the ball was not a handball that deserved a penalty kick against the Moroccan player.

This is the second controversial penalty kick that was not awarded against Al-Ahly this season, after the penalty kick that Mahmoud El-Banna refused to award in the match against ZD and almost turned things upside down.

Before that in the first round, referee Mohamed Adel was suspended due to his controversial decisions in the match between Zamalek and Al-Bank Al-Ahly, after which the entire referees committee left.

Now you are the referee.. Is this shot a penalty kick for Al-Ittihad of Alexandria or not?
