Robertson mocks Real Madrid: I gave them a penalty to break the boredom!

Andrew Robertson mocked Real Madrid’s attacking inability to face Liverpool, and said that he gave them a penalty to break goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher’s boredom.

Kylian Mbappe missed the penalty kick that Lucas Vazquez won due to a mistake by Robertson, after the Irish goalkeeper shone, in the first penalty kick missed by the French star in a Real Madrid shirt.

After the match, Robertson was asked about this penalty, to which he replied, “Caoimhín was bored, so I decided to give him something to do.”

He also added, “Luckily he was on time and saved the penalty.”

The Scottish full-back doubted the validity of the penalty, saying, “It was a soft tackle from me on Lucas Vazquez, it could not have been a penalty, but it seems that the referee made the decision and decided not to go back on it.”

It remains to be noted that Liverpool won 2-0 and reached 15 points at the top, while Real Madrid’s tally froze at 6 points in 24th place after the first 5 rounds.
